Since moving to Pennsylvania, Adam has found a new love- fly fishing. I am a supporter of this hobby- go be with nature, enjoy the streams, yadee yadee. Little did I know, this seemingly "manly" sport has a creative side full of feathers, thread, and glitter- namely, fly tying. Fly-tying is essentially "arts & crafts". I got Adam a kit for Christmas, thinking that I would enjoy tying flies and he can go and fish, you know? Like this would be my part of fly fishing. Well, I have yet to tie a fly and he loves doing it. I tease him and tell him it's manly arts & crafts.

As I have heard said before, "A lot of work for a little bit of nothing!"(this is the printable version) If word of this gets to Karen, Adam will be at the "Arts & Crafts" table on vacation!
Oh my gosh, I had a dream last night that I was fishing. Weird! I was using corn on the cob and catching these huge fish. I also made a waffle in my dream last night also. So what does that tell you?
boys & their hobbies :) Those are great pictures!!
we do split planning date nights ... but we have not set a schedule on v day ... he has secret plans for me tomorrow night, but i need a gift or idea or something ... a cute dessert????
LOL, tell him real men DO play w/feathers. There is a mighty cold turkey you there somewhere missing half of his dressing. My husband would have no patience for feather tying. He has to play war on the computer to wind down. Nothing like killing some people to make you feel better about your day.
Also, the very first picture....he has himself contorted in a a way that you could lay a fiddle across his arms and it looks like he could break into a "devil went down to Georgia".
