We took Mr. Henry on his first walk today. He slept the entire way and I made it almost 2 miles, which I felt good about post-op. I am feeling better everyday, physically. We're still working on getting Henry straight on his nights & days. I'm trying to keep him awake for a little bit after his day-time feedings. Sometimes it works...sometimes it doesn't. He likes to stay awake after his night time feedings...huh, Babywise- What do you say to that?

girl, you look good! i love his little onsie with the tie. he's a little doll to look at too=)
You look SO good Camille! Can't believe you're out there walking! With babywise, remember that the first couple of weeks are for you adjusting to this new life. I didn't even start LGT on the "program" until 6 weeks and Jake was more like 8 weeks.Jake would NEVER stay awake after his feedings, but it got better eventually. LGT got baths at every 10 o'clock feeding as that was the only thing that would keep her awake! Too bad I could only give her 1 bath a day(never did follow the rule that said only bath 2-3 times a week!). At night I did let them cry as long as I knew(or thought I knew) they weren't hungry! I cried more than they did!
did you love your c section? you look AWESOME!!! I like to think c sections have a little to do with how fast you get back to your pre baby self:) At least I tell myself that! And don't worry...babywise works...they'll work out their nights and days soon enough! Way to go on walking 2 miles by the way!
You are incredible Camille, in-cre-di-ble! Did you get me voice message? I miss you too little buddy and I'm planning on stopping by sometime this weekend.
you look awesome and henry has the cutest onesies! i love the tie!
I am a friend of Bethany's and check your blog from time to time. Little Henry is adorable. I had c-sections too and it looks like you are getting out and moving around. That's great! As far as Babywise goes, Bethany knows I am a huge believer and have done it with 3 kids....who all had some various unusual circumstances (27 week preemie, 35 weeker, and 3rd adopted from Guatemala) and it finally worked for all 3. Just stick with what you are doing. If you can push him a bit with those wake times during the day you'll start to see progress...but give yourself some grace too...he is still really young...so you'll have good days and bad days w/ it. Just when you get to the point that you think this whole babywise thing isn't working...it will all start coming together...around 8-12 weeks. I just kept asking tons of questions of my friends who had ton it before me. Hang in there...sounds like you're doing great!
