I'm a m-model...
I just got H-Man down for bed and Adam is working until late in the ER so the house is awfully, wonderfully quite I am catching up on my blog reading and email answering. I notice that I'm not very good at taking pictures of Henry any longer except on my phone. I think this is because
a. I am usually in motion chasing after Henry if we are outside or any place interesting
b. Henry wants to grab the camera and while I'm okay with him playing with my phone, the camera is a different story. Sorry, Charlie.
c. The camera batteries are dead.
Okay, so "c" may be the main reason.
I had an OB appointment today and I heard the baby's heartbeat and my blood pressure was good. I am excited to meet this little flipper-flopper inside of me. We are behind on preparations though...well, comparatively. With Henry, we were READY and had a name really early on and were like BAM! nursery done.
With this kid (a.k.a. #2, That Baby, The Next One...all endearing names), we are just not moving as quickly. But we are still very, very excited and I already think about the day when we can put the two boys in bunk beds with matching Star Wars sheets or something brother-y like that.
#1. Question for you vets out there: When did you transition your kid from 1 nap to 2 naps? How? Sometimes I feel like we're needing to head that way but I have no idea how to do it...push first nap later and later? Just curious.

Hey! We started pushing the first nap later (and basically it had become impossible to get her down for the second nap). I remember her falling asleep in the high chair during lunch a few times. We usually ate lunch at 11 and then went down for the nap shortly after. Now when she does take a nap, she doesn't go down until about 1. We did it early though at 11 months! I love one LONG nap though! It is wonderful and maybe when baby #2 comes, you can get them both down and take a nap yourself!
Okay I just laughed so hard, im so jealous of the bunkbeds and star wars sheets...do you think Ainsleigh will mind if i do that anyways?! Okay so at the beginning of the summer Aiden just stopped wanting his second nap...so I pushed pack the first one to 11 or 12 and he sleeps for like 3 hours!!
Henry looks so old in those pictures. I mean I see him all the time and he still looks so much older!!! Crazy. I love all the pictures from your phone btw - shows everyday life.
Every child is different when it comes to the transition of 2 to 1 naps. Come to think of it, I cannot remember when LG stopped taking 2 naps...oops! I want to say that we just pushed the envelope on how long she could go before putting her down. If he can go 4 to 5 hours or so before napping(from the time he gets up in the morning), then he should be ready for just one nap. On the contrary, if he goes down at 11 and is up by 1, it is going to be really hard keeping him up til bed time, thus needing another nap. He'll let you know when he's ready....sure hope I helped and this didn't sound like jiberish:)
he is soooo cute! I'm thinking you should sign him up for J.Crew model starting now. right? Then he gets free clothes too ;)
