Psalm 34

I sought the LORD, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears.
(v.4)

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
(v. 18)

Thank you, Lord!

I recall the very first time that I read Jennings Secede.

There was a post on one of my two favorite Bible verses. It was on Phil 4:8 and teaches us how to think.

My other favorite, not yet covered here to my knowledge, is Romans 12: 1-2.

Combining the above 2 verses is even more meaningful. Romans lets us know how to live (do not be conformed to the patterns of this world, be transformed by the renewing of your mind) and Phil 4:8 tells us precisely how to renew our mind.

Combined, they are like a handshake from God. He is in on the deal with us personally.

When I saw Psalm 34 this am, my first thought was how long it has been since I have seen the word of God in this forum. I was glad to start the day with it once again and hope you find a way to take your words of seeking the Lord, and He answered you....as a source of hope to the brokenhearted who need directions of truth.

He has blessed you with all you need and an ability to share His truths with others to meet their needs through Him.

Thanks for finally bringing Him back into the picture.

Best regards,
Danny Lucas

I'm blessed beyong words that God is ALWAYS in the PICTURE when it comes to the life of my wife! She lives out the values of the Kingdom of God. She loves the unloveable, Her heart breaks for the broken, She desires nothing more than to be in the presence of the king, and best of all she loves me! Thanks sweetheart for using this blog as a small sliver of the enormous way God is working daily in your life.
