Secret Snackers

I can see how Mamas might begin to lose weight once your kid enters toddlerhood. Aside from chasing your kid around during waking hours, you also have to be a sneaky eater or else he will want your snack. If it's a snack that I don't want Henry to have (choking hazard snacks, etc.), I have to just shove it in my mouth real quick-like behind a door and then act casual. Eating on the go.

On the contrary, I can see how Mamas might begin to gain weight once your kid enters toddler hood and is more than willing to share his grilled cheese sandwiches and nuggets and graham crackers with you. Yum! I love kid food.

Of course, I am pretty darn pregnant and definitely in the latter category.

You are soooo right!! Mine has been the latter category too! It was easy to lose it when I was breastfeeding, but I can't stand to waste food and I have found myself eating extra when she doesn't eat it and I am not pregnant!!! I started weight watchers just because the scale started to recognize all that extra food I was eating!!!

JUST WAIT--when he gets a good grasp on the English language, it will be, "What's in your mouth, Mom?" You'll have to learn to swallow it whole-and what's the fun if you can't chew?

I'm totally there. On both accounts. I don't eat when she's awake and then finish all her leftovers after bed. Oh dear! Help!! anyone have a cure for this stage???

SO funny! And I love your mom's comment....LG can smell and hear food going in my mouth a mile away. Unbelievable!! The main reason I cannot buy cheetos is that I would eat more of them than my kids would!
