Year Four

1st Day of 1st Year

1st Day of 2nd Year

1st Day of 3rd Year

1st Day of 4th Year

Somehow I never got around to posting that Adam, yes Adam, is a fourth year medical student now. Hallelujah, praise the good Lord! He is currently over halfway done with his first month of ER and he loves it. This is the specialty he wants to do and I, as his lovely wife, am beyond cool with ER. I mean, it's shift work and Mama loves knowing when her hubs will be home.

So, being a fourth year, this is the time for applying to residency programs! Eeeek! Adam is in the process of applying and interviews will begin in the fall. We will find out where Adam matches for residency on March 17th.

That's right, March 17th...I mean, don't get in any hurry to let us know or anything, silly Match.

Then he would begin his residency program in July. WOW.

So, this year will be crazy: new baby, residency interviews, rotations, match, and beginning residency.

So the question remains: Where will the Jennings be come July, 2011?
Only the Good Lord knows...but I'll keep you posted.

P.S. I'm so proud of Adam.

I bet you ARE proud!! That's exciting! And girl, I'm thinking you should be pretty proud of yourself walking through med school (and all it entails, of which I have no clue) beside him!

It's crazy for me, a complete stranger also! Lol That means I have been reading your wonderful blog for 4 years. Time flies. I KNOW you will miss Erie but I also know you both are meant for something else and it was never a permanent thing. Best of everythng to you over the next year, I'm sure it will go by quickly. I have a seizure disorder and have been taken to the ER a few times and have had good and not so good ER DR's. Adam will be a perfect addition.

That's great!! Wishing you the best!! It's hard to believe it's been 4 years. I have been reading your blog ever since the newspaper article. Please keep on blogging where ever you end up! Your blog is so much fun, you guys will forever be part of the Erie family!!

About the Beth Moore book study: it's about 30 minutes of homework a night, according to the leader book. But depending on your style and committment, you can get it done way faster than that. We are only on week 2 now, but it really is so good. It's all about breaking free from whatever in your life hinders your ability to live the life God has planned for you. It's about breaking free from captivity to be closer to and have a stronger relationship with God. I'm SO excited to see what the next 8 weeks hold.

My how time does fly! I cannot believe 4 years have already passed!

I know that God will place Adam in the perfect place. (Can we pray that it's closer to the south?????)

I think of you and your sweet family often, and I know God has his hands upon your lives.

You are such an awesome threesome---soon to be foursome!

Love to you all

Goosie (if you don't know who Goosie is by now, ask your Mom! )
