Dating Don't #167

Don't talk about yourself the entire time on a first date.

Anyways, as I was saying, I really enjoy rock climbing. In fact, just last year, I was up in Washington and I was climbing Mt. Waxathcredand I was gripping onto the edge of this rock and it was starting to give away and I was about to fall, and I mean, really fall. From around 400 yards up in the air. Yes, it's true. And then, suddenly I remembered how strong I was and just did a simple one-armed pull-up and hoisted myself to safety. No big deal. Yep, I was featured in an e-article as one of the top 500 best climbers in northern Missouri. So, you're sitting with a celebrity. Anyways, I went to Dartmouth- heard of it? Yes, no? Just kidding- of course, you've heard of it. Studied Business, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship. Triple major- oh yeah! The classes were so easy for me, though. Other students just struggled and struggled with Accounting but I aced it without even cracking a book. My family donated a ton of money to the school- we have our own building! Heard of it? The McNeilerson Library? Of course you have. We're well known in these parts. Old money, you know...

Which leads me to our next "Don't"-
Don't ceaselessly brag on a first date.
You might try and ask questions to get to know the other person.

I can't believe that you got Adam to take all those pictures... well actually based on the little that I know Adam - I'm sure he loved taking them.

Oh my gosh...I am having a flash back....we played croquet all summer when I was little. We would have to take it down for Dad to mow the yard, but we would put it back up as soon as he was done...back before cell phones, computers, and Ipods etc. (Yes! We had TV!)
