Tiny Rant.

I came home today exhausted.   I've been feeling badly because I get home from work and I have been so tired and am not motivated to do very much house stuff besides cooking supper and I don't do any "nesting" on the nights that I don't have small group or girls' group.   And then the weekend rolls around and I am trying to rest and enjoy time with Adam and get some house cleaning done that I've neglected all week and do other weekend stuff and so I don't make time to "nest" then.  I wish I had my last day of work sooner so I could get more stuff done around the house and rest up a little more.  It's going to be alright and the Lord's grace is sufficient for my weaknesses and he's going to provide refreshment and energy but just felt a little poopy tonight.

How do people nest during the 3rd trimester?  I am tired.  I just want to sleep a couple of hours without getting up to pee.  Thanks for listening to my pity party.

I'm definitely to blessed for a pity party but I throw one anyways sometimes.

Sleep all you want to sweet girl. Because when Baby J gets here, well all know that sleep goes right out the window and you will never truly remember what "sleeping in" is! So enjoy it! Nest later. Trust me- you will get that urge.

I'll tell you I felt like doing cartwheels after the delivery of my daughter. (and I could never do one) It's totally normal and the sleep is whats most important right now. You will fell fantastic once the baby is out and THEN you can get back to all those little housechores you want to do.

I agree w/ everyone else! (though OF COURSE I didn't take my own advice when I was pregnant) Your body is telling you what needs to happen right now...and apparantly that is SLEEP! (which I totally agree w/ Hannah...I miss "sleeping in!" What IS that???) I worked 60 hours my last week before I had tristyn and also managed to go to the grocery, made Brian put together 2 bookshelves for her room, and stayed up late washing all of her things...the "nesting" will come when it's supposed to!!

I too would like to agree with everyone else. Listen to your body and rest up. That's what you told me girl during my first trimester. Cuz we won't have this time to be resting once the baby is here.

Let's also remember the unrealistic expectations we put on ourselves to keep our houses in order.

Nesting is for the birds (heheh no pun intended)....isn't it amazing the expectations we women place on ourselves of WHAT we THINK we SHOULD be doing......do what feels right......not what some book says or what someone tells you, you should be doing. Follow your gut....I have always noticed that when I don't follow my gut or intuition on anything I always end up regretting it. SLEEEEEEP....because believe me you.....you won't be in a couple of months.
