These flowers are growing in our front bed. Although they're pretty, I kinda feel like if I bent too close to smell them that they'd shoot up and suck my face in. Kind of like a venus fly trap? Or a flower in Alice in Wonderland? But boy are they pretty.

By the way, you need to pull those weeds around the base of your Poppy.
I have had one of those suck my face in one time...that is actually what happened to my face if you where wondering...bitter topic. Thanks for bringing it up.
"You need to pull those weeds around the base of your Poppy".....is it possible your mom is nagging you via the internet from 1000 miles away????? My dad always says "Weeds are just flowers that nobody wants". Looks like ground cover to me, I say keep it and watch your mom squirm. Post a picture of it everyday as it grows and takes over the whole flower bed.
